Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups butter
- 3-1/8 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups Splenda® baking blend
- 1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 3 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1-1/2 cups + 5 tablespoons rice milk, unenriched
- 2 eggs
- 3 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup Splenda®  brown sugar blend
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Melt 1/2 cup butter and leave remaining butter out to soften.
- In medium-sized bowl, mix 3 cups flour, salt, 1 cup Splenda baking blend, baking soda, cream of tartar, 1-1/2 cups Rice Dream, eggs and 2 teaspoons vanilla. Slowly stir in melted butter.
- Pour mixture into a greased 9" x 13" pan.
- Mix 1 cup softened butter, Splenda brown sugar blend, 2 tablespoons flour and cinnamon until well combined. Drop evenly over the batter and swirl with a knife.
- Bake for 28-32 minutes.
- Combine remaining 1 cup Splenda baking blend and powdered sugar, 5 tablespoons rice milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Drizzle over cake while it’s still warm.
Helpful hints
- This high calorie dessert is great for boosting calories. Enjoy for breakfast or dessert.
- If available,1 cup Ideal® powdered sugar substitute may be used to replace 1 cup Splenda baking blend and 1 cup powdered sugar to reduce calories and carbohydrates.
