Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger root, grated
  • 2-1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon dark sesame oil

Preparation

  1. Chop chives and grate ginger root.
  2. In a small bowl whisk all ingredients together.
  3. Serve dressing over salad greens or arugula.

Helpful hints

  • Look for soy sauce brand with the lowest sodium content.
  • Add an Asian flair to your entrée --drizzled Honey Chive Dressing over broiled or baked white fish such as flounder or tilapia.
